FBC & COVID-19 Update
During this difficult time, we have decided to align ourselves with President Trump and his tactics to fight COVID-19. The Presidential COVID-19 Task Force's latest recommendations are that we meet in groups of 10 or less and limit interactions to a need only basis. For everyone's safety, we have decided to shut down our facility and no longer offer services, which does include Sunday Worship and all education times. We will be vigilant on educating ourselves and adhering to our Government's precautions and once we believe it is safe to reopen our doors, we will contact you by phone and email to let you know that we are resuming services. We will also be making sure to add this information to our Facebook page and our website.
If you have any questions, comments or concerns, please contact either Pastor Dan, one of the council members or email the Communication Team at email@example.com. Also, if you or an immediate family member becomes ill or have tested positive for COVID-19 please let us know so that we can alert others in the congregation and pray for you as well.
You are encouraged to set aside tithes and offerings as you feel led and bring them when services resume. We also have the ability to collect online donations set up via PayPal on this website below.
Prayer requests during this time can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also use the prayer request forum within the website. Please indicate if you wish to have your prayers prayed privately or have those prayers shared with our prayer email chain. We have much to pray about during this chaotic time but God says in the Bible 365 times "do not fear". We must all take everything just one day at a time. In the present God resides and offers us peace. Have faith that God is in control. God always reveals Himself during chaos.
Lastly, and most importantly, we wish to invite you to pray in your homes on Sundays during our regular worship time of 9:30am-10:30am. Although we may be apart during this time, it is important for us to unite as the church of Christ in prayer.
Thank you. Many blessings to you all.
